  • Rigid support on medial side of ankle (with a recess for the malleolus), combined with preformed foam on the lateral side that adapts to the ankle shape
  • Provides compression to treat swelling, with elastic straps that offer additional support
  • Adapts for ongoing support after acute phase: one brace for both acute and ongoing support
  • Tightness of straps can be adjusted as swelling subsides
  • Restricts inversion and eversion while allowing freedom of dorsal and plantar flexion movement
